As is managing the list. Freelists web interface for admins is very
accessible. It avoids some of the accessibility issues with Googlegroups and
avoids some of thespam issues with Yahoogroups. I moderate a few groups on
Freelists and find it easy to use. I only have one small concern that may
effect this list but hopefully it won't be a problem.

I know that Charlie is a bit confused about who is responsible for setting
up this new list, but it is Roger who did it and we all owe him our
gratitude for taking the time and trouble to do so. I know that Jen is
willing to help if we get into difficulty and perhaps she can explain to us
why we can't send out an email to the subscribers listed on the octothorp
server informing them about the new list. Roger and I have both tried.
I hope that everyone who was on our little distribution list has subscribed
to this list because sending articles and discussion will be a lot easier
now.
