I did a quick search for an answer, but none surfaced. Many Left of
Center, Liberal publications and Programming are on the chopping block
for lack of funding.
There may be a message there: A faint heart never won a fair damsel.
Or to put it in Footballese, The best defense is a good offense.

I just read an announcement from Common Dreams that Think Progress is going
to disappear for lack of funds. Given the fact that it is a creature of the
Democratic leadership who are backed by rich donors. I wonder what the back
story is.
