That only shows how confused the public is. With all of these allegations and
alternative facts being bandied about on all the networks, no one knows what
the hell is really going on. The Washington Post had this really long article
today which was supposed to show how Obama knew last summer that Putin was
personally interfering with the election on behalf of Trump and decided not to
make the information public because he thought it would make things worse. I
read the article carefully and I looked for the facts which would prove that
the story about Russia's interference was really incontrovertible and that all
the people whose opinions I respect and who have shown how there's no real
evidence, are wrong. And after reading the article, it seemed to me that the
Washington Post had no new information, no new evidence. Most of the story
quoted all these government officials in detail. And from their past
performances, we know that every one of them has lied: James Clapper, the FBI
guys who are now heroes but are the same people who supported torture and lied
about it during Bush's administration, John Brennan, that wonderful CIA hero,
also from the Bush administration who supported every illegal thing those
bastards did. Now suddenly, the Times and the Post and NPR and everyone else is
acting as if these people are our saviors. I listened to two versions of a news
story about a religious tower that was destroyed in Iraq from two, supposedly
reputable sources, and they had diametrically opposed information about who had
done the bombing. The whole country has gone insane so I can understand why all
these poor people are so confused.

Sunday. A local television station made a Facebook post asking the question, do
you intend to attend the rally. One of the comments read as follows: I will
definitely not attend. Bernie Sanders is under investigation by the F.B.I. for
helping the Russians try to make Donald Trump lose the election.
