Miriam, when I used to work for County Auto we did business with his companies
and everything you say is correct and it filters down through his
organizations. Sadly it is the reality of what we will have to live with. The
media has already handed the elction to him. The question is will he resign
after January and hand things over to Pence who is more liked by the republican
rank and file or will he stay on?

Kevin,
A Trump win scares the hell out of me. I would have been scared, just having
listened to some of the things he's said. But so far, I've read 2 books about
him and several articles. The man is a psycopath. He's a terrible person, in
his personal life, and in his business life. He has no conscience so he'll do
anything to get what he wants and he functions in the short term, like a child.
He does stuff for ego gratification and he wants immediate gratification. The
people who've seen him function, know this and that is why some of the
Republicans, people whose values we despise, are staying away from him. It's a
matter of self defense for them, and has nothing to do with whether or not they
agree with him. Theyjust know that he's unpredictable and that scares them.
Miriam

This is kind of where my thinking has gone as of late. We've been told again
and again how much of a disaster Trump would be, and that is true. But if
Hillary wins, things will not be all sweetness and light, and anyone who thinks
so is seriously dilusional. The best we can hope for is for things pretty much
staying the same, meaning perpetual gridlock, except maybe for the things
Hillary will cave on because there's no choice, or it could be a lot worse, or
something. It's not a huge stretch to think, as has been stated here recently,
that maybe a Trump win might actually be the catalyst for the change we
actually need. One thing's for sure; Congress, as it now stands, won't work
with Hillary any more than they did, or didn't, with Obama. In fact, I wouldn't
be surprised to see impeachment on the table on day one. On the other hand,
Trump in the Presidency could bring on other things too dismal to contemplate.
To say I'm conflicted would be a gross understatement.
