Roger,
I am so glad that I am not now, nor have I ever been a cop. So they
caught the easy ones. The ones they probably have arrested twenty
times over. But what about the bright ones? The ones who can out
think the cops? And what about the dealers at the top, the ones
bringing the stuff into the country? And what about the hopeless,
dead end existence afforded these simple addicts? Sure, the cops will
say it's not their place to worry about what becomes of them when they
are released. In fact, that's job security.
Once again, we have been raise to use negative reinforcement to
discipline those who violate the Law.
Anyway, all I can say is, "Shame on you!" to those cops.

this happened in Texas. I say I think because it is my habit to turn on
the 11:00 news while I am preparing to go to bed and I am only half
listening. But if I got this right it seems that the police made an
announcement on social media that if you are in possession of
methamphetamine it may be contaminated with Ebola. They went on to urge
anyone who was in possession of meth to bring it to the police station
to be tested for their own safety. Well, stupid idiots started coming in
and handing over their crank to the cops and were promptly arrested.
