Although I will vote for Bernie Sanders in our upcoming presidential
election...given the opportunity...nonetheless, I have strong doubts
that he has developed a foreign policy that will ease international
tensions and promote Peace and democracy. If Sanders is frozen out of
the election process, then I probably will vote for the Socialist
Democrat candidate.
And before anyone tells me that this is throwing away my vote, I would
remind you that in 2008, I voted for Barack Obama...most assuredly a
wasted vote! In 2012 I voted for Bernie in the primary, and after the
DNC did the hatchet job on him, I voted for Jill Stein. Again, not a
throw away vote. A throw away vote would have been a vote for Hillary
Clinton. Had she won, her foreign policy was every bit as hawk-like
as is Donald Trump's. My vote for Jill Stein was my way of saying
that I believed America could be better than it was.
