Hi Rod,

I like your idea! It says everything in one short phrase and is easily adapted
to different situations like two-on-one games.

I vote for Rod's idea.

Not to stick my neck out too far, but another idea might simply be to call it
an X-on-Y match - where "X" is the number of players on one side and "Y" the
number on the other side. Normally it would be a Two-on-Two match.

Another idea that was mentioned briefly last year - a match where everyone on
the list gangs up on me. I cringe now - Paul and Stan have joined the list
sicne this idea was floated - but perhaps if I could consult Fritz in difficult
positions that might even it out somewhat. Each side could have two days per
move, allowing time for on-list discussion of possible moves and the whyfore
and howcome of each. I could be banned from reading such posts, or even join
the discussion and we all play Fritz.

Rod
