Hello All,
As Richard explains for Re7, white exchanges the rook and knight for the
black queen. This leaves white with a queen to do all of the work with a
bunch of pawns. With Nf6, white keeps all of its pieces on the chessboard.
Black is forced to make the first move. After black makes the first move,
white has checkmating combinations to win the game.
