Hey Valery. Do you know anything about the 3900? We have the 3800 and love
it.

Gotta love auto-correct! despise should have been despine; I would hate to
despine all books to use a sheetfed system like the Epson you asked about.

So sorry!
Valerie

Bookshare? I would hate to despise all books to use a sheetfed system like
the Epson you asked about. The preferred scanner of Bookshare scanners is
Plustek OpticBook. The 3600 has been discontinued a few years and can be
found cheaply on eBay (or I may have one soon), the 3800 is newer and the
newest, the 3900, and I might happily add, Windows and Mac compatible, so I
can finally scan on my Mac. Software for Windows is still more advanced,
but I am happy for the new Mac offering.
