Hi, all, presently, Pavi is graciously helping a friend of mine find resources
to solve a problem. When she gets to the upload point of submit and goes to
browse for the file, she cannot find it in openbook and has no choice but to
search her whole computer before she goes to the submit link, and even though
she finds the file, she still can't get it submitted. She and another
volunteer on this list did it once but had a hard time and don't know what they
did. Pavi's consulting the staff on this, but in the meantime, can anyone
advise her on what to do? I've also got 10 books to add to the collection, but
I'm worried about doing this as I've got openbook 7. We both do and we've
heard that kerzweil--pardon the spelling is easier, but that's not the scanning
software we use, and seeing as how there are KES files waiting to be downloaded
for validation, I'm not sure this is such a great system for submission either
but don't know. Could openbook advisers help us? If interested, please write
me privately at jdprater@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and I will discuss this further with you
as I've gotta learn what to do too. I wanted to get other input in case the
others are at a loss for what to do. There's gotta be a way to do it and we're
so close. Thanks everybody and Pavi for hanging in there. Have a blessed day.
