Yes, I tried replace both by copying sand pasting the spaces and when that didn't work my hitting the space bar varying numbers of toime. Maybe you're right and it isn't a spaces--atr least not word spaces. Roger did this on his machine and his paragraph symbols aren't like mine. I finally pasted his into the replace space and was able to get of them, but not alal of them because ther's something else with them-- space before and after. I Pasting word's paragraaph symbol into the replace didn't work at all. I finally deleted most of them--I think all--y hand--but doing thaat with the spaces between the words was taking way too long. May Denise can get rid of them. If not I'll have to reject theput or upload it as Good instead of excellent with the reason why in the comments section. I did 2 other of his books sveral month ago and tyhey didn't have thisproblem--in fact, word' paragraph symbol worked to delete them. I don't he scanned with this time that's different from what he used to the Maolm X paper months age.
