I definitely understand your frustration, Jamie and surely do hope something
can be done by Bookshare's staff to correct the above mentioned problem!

Let me add that I do not think it is unreasonable to be told UP FRONT
when a site is experiencing difficulties. Other websites do it.
Blockbuster doesn't let me search for a movie and try to put it in my
queue. It tells me UP FRONT hey we're down. Try later. Other sites
don't let me shop and then put things in my cart and only at the point
of payment say hey guess what? We're having difficulties try later.
No, they tell me UP FRONT. My library website doesn't let me browse
books and then when I try to place a hold tell me sorry try later. It
tells me UP FRONT that they are down. Bookshare could do the same.
It's not unreasonable to be given this courtesy instead of letting me
go through the entire thirty minute process of submitting a book only
to be told sorry we're having difficulties, try later.

If anyone, ANYONE, thinks I'm a blind person whining, you couldn't be
more wrong.
