In find and replace, for find, put ^b (that's shift 6 then b)
for replace, put ^p^m^p (that's shift 6 then p then shift 6 then m then
shift 6 then p).
This is not actually simply replacing a character with others. This tells
Word to find section breaks and replace with paragraph marker page break
paragraph marker. The ^ character tells word find and replace that this is
a special command and the letter after indicates which actual instruction
to use. I have not found any other programs but Word that know what Word is
doing to indicate section breaks.

CD booklets... for quite a while I have been thinking about scanning mine
since I have copied most of the music to my computer and the discs and
boxes and booklets are mostly just clutter. But I haven't started that
project yet.
Omnipage, at least as I use it gets the lines for poetry right most of the
time. It also recognizes columns like for indexes automatically, but not
all the time. It does have an option to set up columns manually and that
works very well. But the column layout has to be the same on all pages. CD
booklets are not often the same format from page to page and definitely not
from booklet to booklet.
The problem I have with Omnipage is that instead of page breaks it puts in
section breaks. Mocrosoft Word can convert those section breaks to page
breaks, but I cannot find anything else that will do it.

The programs in the Kurzweil (which also includes Abby Fine Reader take

I had a sighted person who is pretty computer literate and he couldn’t
figure out how to use the program. So it certainly isn’t an easy one to use.
I’ve used Abby but I have a version that doesn’t separate out the page
numbers; in incorporates them into MS Word as headers and footers and we
can’t figure out how to get them out so they show.

Surprisingly, the about box says it is version 19.0. But again, I don't
know how the Kofax version numbers compare to the Nuance version numbers.
And I am not using JAWS. I am sighted (though I use a 36 inch monitor).

Has anyone used Omnipage 19.2?
I’m currently using Kurzweil 1000 and wonder if Omnipage 19.2 as a
stand-alone program would be worth looking into. I have used Abby
Finereader as a stand-alone but it’s tough to use.
