Hi, Jill! I have had some limited experience with Word Perfect, but while
it isn't perfect, I prefer to use Word 2002 with Jaws. Freedom Scientific
offers a tutorial for it, and I believe Project Assist from Iowa Department
For The Blind might offer one as well. I don't have the link to their site
at the moment, and I'm in a hurry, but you can go to my site and visit the
page for blindness-related resources, and it's there.

Hope this helps!

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] ms word or word perfect

I'm sorry that I don't remember who on this list dislikes MS word so much
or I would have written off list. My operating system is XP home with word
2002. I am going to need to invest in a tutorial if I continue to use this
word processor. Does anyone use Word Perfect instead; if so what is your
evaluation? Jaws has a tutorial for version 10. I hope this isn't considered
off topic, but I am trying to decide which method is the best for me in
validating books as I want to do the best possible job that I can. I am
using a braille display with my computer as well and need some assistance in
configuring it, but my main concern right now is which word processor to
use. Thanks for anyone's ideas. Jill
