I have to agree with Roger on this one. I think it's a good suggestion Roger. But, I think it's Carrie's call as to whether or not to take it, and she may want to get the advice of her friends at bookshare. I don't think this is good advice for those of us who know Cindy through this email list. In other words, I know we all would like to help Cindy, if we could help her, or if she even needed our help. In other words, I don't think we should all call the police in her area. That would be counter productive, and deny Cindy the freedom we all have on this list: the right to come and go as we wish. Or, if the police are reluctant to do that you might ask them who it might be better to call. "Philosophers have merely interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it." She has a daughter there or something. I know she is sometimes there, not in Los Angeles. And speaking of missing persons, I left a message on Cindy's answering machine about 3 hours ago. Haven't heard back from her.
