By no means was I suggesting that everyone on this list call the police in
Cindy's area. That would really be a case of overkill. I was only making a
suggestion about a follow-up that Carrie might make to the phone call she had
already made.

I have to agree with Roger on this one. I think it's a good suggestion
Roger.

But, I think it's Carrie's call as to whether or not to take it, and she may
want to get the advice of her friends at bookshare.

I don't think this is good advice for those of us who know Cindy through this
email list. In other words, I know we all would like to help Cindy, if we
could help her, or if she even needed our help. In other words, I don't think
we should all call the police in her area. That would be counter productive,
and deny Cindy the freedom we all have on this list: the right to come and go
as we wish.

Just my opinion,

Bob

Carrie, if you haven't heard from her by tomorrow it might not be a bad idea
to call the police in her area and ask them to stop by to check on her. Or,
if the police are reluctant to do that you might ask them who it might be
better to call.

Cindy usually tells me when she goes to San Diego, and she continues working
from there.
Still no word from my phone call this morning.

She goes to San Diego, isn't it?  She has a daughter there or something.  I
know she is sometimes there, not in Los Angeles.

Two things:
Marilyn Beasley has volunteered to fix up Missing Persons, so I returned it
to the checkout queue for her to work on.

And speaking of missing persons, I left a message on Cindy's answering
machine about 3 hours ago. Haven't heard back from her.
