Hi, Susan when in the default Jaws Dictionary, tab to add button and
press space bar. Tab until you hear
"actual word" write using the backslash and the numbers zero, one, two
on the numbers row. Tab once until you hear "replacement word" then
write "page break". Tab until you hear "okay". Press alt+F4 to close the
dictionary. You will be asked if you wish to save changes. Hit spacebar
for yes. Regards, Kim Friedman.

Hi Charisma,

If you are proofing in Word, using JAWS, be sure the option page,
section break and multiple columns is turned off and that the page break
symbol is added to your JAWS dictionary. Larry or someone else who
remembers exactly what to do, how does she add that to her JAWS
dictionary? I wouldn't want to tell her incorrectly. Thanks. Good luck
and happy proofing!

Susan

Without doing each one separately, how do I remove the 1 million column
breaks in a book I scanned?

There must be a FIND/REPLACE process I can do, no?
