Hi Amber,
Unfortunately, I believe Kurzweil implemented this feature, it wasn't
something that came from FineReader. I merely meant to point out its existance
in support of my theory that the fan of the pages might be causing eroneous
characters.

I don't see that option in Fine Reader stand alone program, unfortunately. I
guess I'll have to deal with its foibles and flaws, but I will keep searching
for it. Perhaps I missed it somewhere.
