This problem has been noticed by others as well. I just received an
expiration notice for a book on my validation list that I definitely renewed
several days ago.

Firstly I'm assuming it has to do with the problem which caused the server
to recently be down, but today I attempted to validate a book on my step-two
page, and when I got there I found no books listed, though I knew I should
have six or eight of them.
I did happen to find most of the books listed back on the step one page, so
I was able to redownload and delete them so they would be listed as mine and
I could upload the cleaned copies. I just thought I'd mention it because
people are probably working hard on validating things, and after all that
work they'll be upset to find the book not listed on their step two pages,
and possibly the books have been reclaimed by someone else from the step one
page.
