Thanks Malisa and Mayrie. I did try looking for ^g and replacing it with nothing. It found one occurrence but K1000 still didn't like it. I'll try opening in wordpad and/or copying to the clipboard. First make a back up copy. Then I would do a find and replace for ^g that's the code for graphics, and I would replace it with nothing. If these objects are graphics, this will get rid of them. I'd then try to save it and try opening it with Kurzweil. If that didn't work, I'd probably try opening it in Wordpad, and saving it. Then open it with Kurzweil and/or Word and see what you get.
