Yep! Copying the document to the clipboard worked like a charm. Thanks for the suggestion Mayrie. Hey, isn't this group great?! So, I open it in Word, select all, copy it to the clipboard, and paste the entire document into a new kes file. That usually keeps Kurzweil from having a fit. Maybe that will work? I am working on a book that I am having some problems with. I am using Kurzweil (latest version) and msword 2003. When I try to open it in Kurzy I get about 30 pages in and Kurzweil thinks its finished. The book has about 360 pages in it. When I open the book in word it opens fine but jaws reports that there are 15 objects in the drawing layer (whatever that is). Jaws suggested that I use insert+ctrl+c (I think) to move the objects to the text layer, but when I tried this, jaws said it couldn't move the objects. I'm not sure that the objects are causing the problem with Kurzweil but I think it might be. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what did you do? Thanks. Bob
