JAWS and - I would expect - other screen readers just say "copyright" when
they encounter the © symbol..

Cindy, I'm thinking the copyright symbol, while it scans and looks good to
sighted folks, probably does not translate to anything useable in Braille. I
don't know what it sounds like in JAWS or other readers, though.
