Dan, I know this is very basic, but did you make sure that your view is set for
normal in Word as opposed to print view.
Some of the books I have downloaded to validate open in print view.
Sorry if this thought is too basic.

Hi,
I installed the latest update to Jaws too and under Windows XP Home and MS
Office 2003 it does read page breaks on my system.
In fact, I noticed that it actually works better than it did.

Hello Fellow Bookshare Volunteers,
While starting to validate another book this morning, I have noticed that
the latest JAWS 9.0.2152 no longer appears to read page break characters in
Word 2003. My workaround is to press JAWS Key+D and add \012 to the JAWS
dictionary as a "page break". I would appreciate hearing from other JAWS
9.0.2152 users. Are you experiencing the same issue? Does applying this
workaround resolve it for you?
