I do in fact this morning one of my booksfree was so bad that I just brought the stupid thing new and hopefully can get a good scan. It would not get the chapters or if not that the page numbers. I think there were a lot of yellowed pages because there were a lot of errors as well.

Of course, they probably are not. I don't know who scanned this book, but I think it is rated "good." It is the now famous "A New Religious America." People, we gotta hold these books down so they can get up close and personal to the scanner. It was rated "good" I think, and for the first half it seemed better than that. But now I am to the part that has page after page of errors and errors. Luckily I have the book, but I'm having to constantly pit it against the copy I'm validating. I would reject it, but it has been up there for about two years already. I hope that when we are doing other things while scanning that we are mindful of the garbage that gets into these scans if we don't do it right.
