Jill explained it well. I do read the book, because not everything is caught by spell-check or K1000, i.e., a word can be correctly spelled but be the wrong word in context, e.g., die for the and the number one for capital I. So I generally take books I'm willing to read. Sometimes, because I'm sighted and can compare with the book, I'll take books no one else can that I find I can't bear to read. smile Then I do what you do--scan the pages with my eyes and validate with spell-check on to catch errors and hope I catch most of them. I do put that in the long synopsis and offer to get the book if there are problems that the reader needs fixing. smile I don't do indexes or bibliograhies, usually, either--I think they can be figured out, but I make the same offer in the long synopsis. smile Cindy --- Jamie Yates <jamieyates@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I am always interested when I read that others have > submitted a book and then someone wants to validate > that particular book.
