Dear Friends,
Below is a message to all of you from Lisa Friendly, Bookshare's
Director of Literacy Operations.
To the Bookshare volunteer community,
I wanted to let you know that after nearly three years with the
Bookshare project, I am going to be leaving the organization to
undertake some consulting work. It's important to me to tell you
personally how much I've enjoyed working with all of you and how much
respect I have for the Bookshare volunteer community. Your
contributions, your expertise and your collective heart are immense and
it's been an honor to work with you. If you'd like my personal email
address Pavi can provide it to you.
I wish you all the best and extend my thanks for all that you have
taught me, about accessible books and about life.

I know many join me in saying they have benefited and learned a great
deal from Lisa's presence and leadership at Bookshare, we will certainly
miss her, but wish her the very best and look forward to staying in
touch.
