That's Bud I believe you're asking about, Cindy! Please add my condolences Cindy P.S. her passing reminds me. I asked before but haven't heard; does anyone know anything about --darn; at this moment I can't remember his name (I did when I wrote earlier to ask) but he lives (I hope it's still present tense) in Malibu, if I remember correctly, and was housebound; his wife went to the library to get books for him to scan; he, too was(is?) an active volunteer, and a member of our geriatric club. That's why I'm worried. He is, or was, one of our older members, if I remember correctly from the various conversations and reminiscences we older folk had on the list (providing a bit of history for you younger folk smile. It's one thing to be melancholy and one thing to be sophisticated, but when you get the two of them together in a way people can relate to, then I think you're on to something. You want the sophistication to lie in the purity of the sound, the beauty of the arrangements, and the quality of the performances."-Trumpeter Chris Botti -- Chela Robles E-Mail/GoogleTalk/AIM/MySpace/LinkedIn: cdrobles693@xxxxxxxxx WindowsLive Messenger: cdrobles693@xxxxxxxxxxx E-Buddy ID: cdrobles693 Skype Name: jazzytrumpet Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/chela.robles I volunteer for a non-profit organization called Bookshare, to learn more and to join us, visit: http://www.bookshare.org Visit my blog piece from Learning Ally and after reading and listening to the song selection, fill out the form which requires no CAPCHAS unless you're a robot at: http://www.learningally.org/Blog/Access-and-Achievement/144/vobId__2525/ -- To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
