I don't remember the exact time but I do recall reporting it a few days before Christmas last year, and the again this year if you want I can try again and keep track?

I just received a note from Bookshare IT that there is a glitch in the software we use for tracking bugs such as the errors you are experiencing with the Check Out List. It has caused a backup and slowed response time. What would be very helpful to the engineers is to have as much detail as possible. Reporting the error messages has been helpful. Also what operating system, what browser, any AT, and exact time is helpful. We are not experiencing the same problem in-house so this level of detail helps isolate the problem. I received a message after Internet Explorer's progress bar said "38%". That message said there was "Error 500 internal server error". I've written Bookshare support about this copying the message I received. There is a case number on this thing and I've yet to hear from somebody about this. The regular book queue for downloading books already in the Bookshare collection doesn't seem to be affected on my computer, just on the queue for "checkout a book". I also entered a link for sorting books by date added and was able to read the first hundred books, but again, if I pressed the enter key to go to page 2 of the checkout list, guess what happened? If you think I got the same error message, then you're absolutely right. I don't know if it's an engineering thing or just my computer. I waited for the page to upload but again, nothing happened. Regards, Kim Friedman. P.S.: I hope like you this problem can be solved. (smile) So I only look at the first page. I wonder why that problem exists because there have always been a lot of books on the checkout page and this problem has not always existed. Today, whenIhad it set to show 100 results, I received the below error. I did nothave problems when I changed it to show 50 results, though it stilltookan unusually long time. It should be noted that I have it set to show100results when browsing the catalog, and am able to navigate to page 2andso on without any problem. Perhaps this will help the tech folksfigureout what is going on. This occurred somewhere around 2:50 pm central time.
