Hi, Mike. I know, but on the New Books page, it's listed under Tess, and I thought the book said it was by Terry. I'm just asking out of curiosity, because I thought that was where the confusion started in the first place, because no one could find Terry. Take care. Julie Morales To be in your children's memories tomorrow, you need to be in their lives today. -- Unknown mercy421@xxxxxxxxxxx Windows/MSN Messenger (but not email): mercy0421@xxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Pietruk" <pietruk@xxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, December 05, 2005 10:16 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Tess and Terry Gerritsen Julie It should be listed however it is listed in the book. That's the way libraries and booksellers do it; and so should BookShare. This happens more often than you believe especially with women authors who may have several different names in a lifetime. Elisabeth Elliot, for instance, sometimes uses her current husband's last name, Gren, as the copyright rather than her first husband, Jim Elliot, who was killed in Ecuador in the mid 1950s. I believe that she, when one of her copyrights cam up for renewal, switched from Elliot to Gren. Some authors include a middle initial on one and not on another book. Just follow the book's lead rather than the way we think it should be. The way it should be is the way the book has it, whatever that might happen to be. Gustavo's seeming inflexibility may be in part to a reaction of some submitters/validators doing things their way rather than the book's way.
