I checked the collection to see if it was a HarperCollins donation but see instead that it was a NY Times addition to the collection. Which means, I suppose that in addition to checking the being-scanned list, and the collection, and the books-in-process list, one should check the monthly NY Times list that Carrie posts before scanning. I've downloaded a copy of May's if anybody needs that info and didn't save it when she posted. I don't think she remembered to post the April list, though--probably too excited about the impending birth. smile I guess it's impossible to avoid duplicated work entirely, but we can try. I'll add the NY Times books to the being-scanned list. That will make one less list for you to have to look at. As soon as I get it done this afternoon, I'll post it, and then if there are more changes I'll post a new list int he wee hours of the morning, as usual. smile G.Cindy ***WISH LIST (CALLED REQUESTED ADDITIONS TO THE BOOKSHARE COLLECTION)IS AVAILABLE AT http://people.delphiforums.com/jamiecalton/Book_Requests.htm http://www.friendsofbookshare.org/ http://studentpages.alma.edu/~07jmyate/book_requests.htm A LIST OF BOOKS CURRENTLY BEING SCANNED IS AVAILABLE AT http://people.delphiforums.com/jamiecalton/scanning.html Jake's site for useful links: http://www.jbrownell.com/bkslinks.html --- On Fri, 5/2/08, Tracy Carcione <carcione@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: Tracy Carcione <carcione@xxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Duplicate submissions bring me down > To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Date: Friday, May 2, 2008, 8:36 AM > Duplicate submissions bring me down, way way down.
