That is the Baen free library, spelled B A E N. It is found at http://baen.com/library/.

Hi Lynnsky!

I'm using OpenBook 7, and the advanced search dialog off of the launch menu lets me search for books from Project Gutenberg, Bookshare and a library I am unfamiliar with. It sounds like it says "Bean" Library. Does anyone know what that library really is?

You can do the same in OpenBook version 8, and I would expect the same is true with the upcoming release of OpenBook version 9.

Not sure if OpenBook version 7 offers this feature. *smile*

Blessings.

Hi Kenny. I'm thinking about your idea. What kind of Bookshare edition do you have in mind? Are you thinking of a package of software sold with some specific Bookshare-related features? Or maybe software sold with Bookshare membership? I'd like to understand what you're thinking.

I can't speak about OpenBook 8. I can tell you that Kurzweil has already integrated searching and downloading from Bookshare. It can open books it downloads, so you don't have to manually unzip them.
