We are doing that. I was just wondering if anyone else was having that problem
or ever did. That was the only reason I posted the problem at all, thinking
maybe it was something I was doing wrong, but it doesn't look like it. Take
care.

Hi, Kaitlyn. Well, that didn't work, but thanks for the suggestion, though. I
think, the last time I had this problem with another site, I tried and tried
with no luck, and this was probably one of the things I tried. Thanks again,
though, and take care.

  Hello Julie,

I have run into this before. I am not sure which screen reader you are using
butâ IF you are running JAWS try to route the JAWS to the PC curser, switch
to the Jaws curser then click the link to complete the form

OK, am I the only one that can't deal with Epson's Web site? I've had this
problem with other sites before and can never work around it. I get to the
point where I have to place the order, and every time I click the button, I end
up back at the checkout page...no error, no nothing. It's like I never clicked
a button in the first place. The page is exactly the same. This is really
infuriating me, because I've had this problem with other sites before, too, and
I once tried to buy something from the Epson site before and had this problem
then. OK, I'm done venting now. There won't be an Epson scanner in this house
for a while if I can't figure this out. Take care.

Julie, for example, I have found the following refurbished scanners on the
Epson site that are worth looking at:

Epson 4180 $149 (regular $499). Duty cycle 36000 scans. This has the
steepest discount and is the most heavy duty. Can use a doc feeder.

Epson 3170 refurb: $124 (list 179). Duty cycle 30000 scans. Probably the
fastest of the 3 by a small margin. Can use a doc feeder.

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=45471984

Epson 2400 refurb: $75 (current list is $119, but when the device was
current it costed approx $300). Duty cycle 30000 scans. I tried it: it's a
real beauty! No doc feeder.

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=31061924

Bottom line, you can't go wrong with any of the above.
Stay away from Epson 1670, 2480, 2580, they are very slow and duty cycle is
only 10000 scans. Other Epson scanners from Epson refurb are more expensive.

Julie, what is your budget for a scanner? Meaningful Answers depend on
quantifiable budget.

Hi, all. OK, my scanner finally bit the dust. I knew it was coming, but...oh,
well. Anyway, I really want the Epson Perfection 3170, but it's just a little
out of my price range right now, and I need a scanner. *smile* Does anyone else
have any good suggestions that might be a little cheaper? Thanks, and take
care.
