The people who burned witches at the stake never for one moment thought of
their act as violence;
 rather they thought of it as an act of divinely mandated righteousness.
 The same can be said of most of the violence we humans have ever committed.

  I would like Stories of Deliverance: Speaking with Men and Women Who Rescued
Jews from the Holocaust by Marek Halter to be added to the wish list. If this
cannot be found in a library, I am willing to purchase it. I do know it is
definitely not in any of my county's libraries. Thanks!
