Sounds like a one character column problem. In Word, select the text and go to the Columns item on the Format menu and change to one column as wide as your page. This changes Column attributes for the current Section only. If you use FineReader to scan and Word to edit, first globally replace the Section Breaks with Manual Page Breaks or you'll end up wasting a lot of time changing the Column attributes over and over again. Hi, everyone. I'm currently attempting to validate The Secret History by Donna Tart. However, it seems to have scanned, or been formatted, very strangely. It's written like this: a l l r i g h t s r e s e r v e d I'm not sure what to do about this. If you read it with speech, it reads normally, but, if you go through it character by character, each character is on a separate line. I can't see submitting it like this. Any suggestions?
