I've uploaded this book as an RTF file, so anyone can validate it. It's
been spell checked, proof read, and I've stripped the headers. Excellent
scan. Should be easy to validate. 416 pages.

This is one of Anne McCaffrey's Pern books. Bookshare has a BRF version
available, but doesn't have a DAISY version. I thought the nonBraille
readers might like to have a DAISY version available since it is the climax
in the series.
For generations, the dragonriders had dedicated their lives to fighting
Thread, the dreaded spores that periodically rained from the sky to ravage
