Hi, Lori.I think I'd leave it as it is. As long as the purpose of the hyphens is clearly indicated, they shouldn't be a problem for someone reading the book in Braille or using speech.

For example, Elijah (e-LIE-juh). In several instances, the syllabalized word divides between two lines. Should I replace the hypen with another symbol so this division does not occur?
This book had so few things to do that I almost feel guilty earning $2.50 for its validation!
Thanks for help with this hypen-concern. Cat Lover Lori To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line. To get a list of available commands, put the word 'help' by itself in the subject line.
