Yes, my understanding is that if the hyphen at the end
of the line is supposed to be in the word, as in a
compound word or pronunciation as in your example,
it's o.k. to leave it, and that's what I've been
doing. I hope I haven't been doing it wrong all this
time I only close up words that shouldn't be
hyphenated.
