I would caution that Both of these lists are heavy traffic lists, at least
by my standards.

Hi, Rick.  I'm going to reply here since others may find the answer 
useful.  I go to two different lists for questions like 
this.  BlindTech is a list for general discussion of technology that 
blind people use.  There are a lot of tech-savvy people there.  It is 
a moderated list, so there isn't much flaming or off-topic 
chatter.  To join, send a blank email to blindtech-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The other list I use is more chatty, but it also seems to attract 
more computer geeks and creative people too.  That's probably because 
that list isn't so firmly moderated.  It's called BlindCoolTech, and 
you can subscribe by visiting the following website:

I hope this will help you find answers to your questions as well as 
make some new friends.  I'm looking forward to seeing you on one or
