Cute, I really like this sort of thing keep them coming every now and then.
I could probably write one about the trumpet similar to yours but don't want to kill anyone on this list for fear of more trumpet bashing like I got on other lists hence which is why I unsubscribed from most of them, all because of my quote which I've successfully changed from that to my email, well ok, now I really changed it to a quote that stood out to me while reading my friend's facebook status Monday last week I believe it was.
Anyway all have a good night.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] OT? You know you're a Bookshare volunteer if...

I don't want to clutter the list, but I've had a really massively bad month and decided to write up something totally lighthearted and frivolous tonight, just to relax and have a little fun. smile. Enjoy.

You know you're a Bookshare Volunteer if…

- You've ever worn out a scanner;
- you're thrilled that the books you just bought on eBay have loose spines because they'll scan easier and you don't feel guilty about damaging them if it happens; - you automatically change "die" to "the" in everything you read, because it just has to be a scanno, right? - you know where to find or have memorized the codes to put into Word or Kurzweil to search for a smart quote, a tab, a paragraph mark or a carriage return;
- you know what a header is in a book;
- someone says the word stripper and you immediately think "page break blank line page number blank line" instead of "seedy night clubs"; - you have more books to read than time to read them for the first time in your life, and those aren't the ones you're reading because you're scanning or proofreading yet another book; - you've ever scanned or proofread a book you discovered you absolutely hated halfway through, and finished it anyways because someone else asked you for help with it;
- you proofread or scanned a book instead of listening to the Superbowl;
- the local librarian tells you you're their most active patron and the staff is dying to know why because you're blind and can't read printed books;
and
- You know that Cherry Ames isn't a new soft drink!
