Hi, Lissi! The BrailleNote, at least the MPower, has two compact flash slots. The older models have one, plus a PCMCIA slot which holds the older Flash memory cards. Actually, now that I think about it, that's what the MPower has, too. I'm getting the Pac Mate and the BrailleNote mixed up! <LOL> To answer your other question, Compaq is a brand of computer. In fact, my new notebook is a Compaq... And that's what I'm using right now to respond to your email. <Smile> I don't know whether or not they make compact flash cards as well, but that's certainly a possibility. Hope this helps, even though I'm about to fall asleep while I'm writing this... Understandable, I guess, since the time is now 3:15 A.M., Nashville time. <LOL> Have a great weekend! Dear Natalie, Katie and all, I have two compaqflash cards for my braille note which I bought with rebates from Office Max. I thought it was the name of a particular brand. On my braille note it has two memory sources that sound the same Compact flash and compaqflash. I thought compaq was a brand of a compact flash card. Like Jell-O is a brand of gelatin. Does anyone know? Natalie you've asked a question I've been wondering about for a long time. Always with love, Lissi ----- Original Message ----- From: Natalie To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, June 23, 2006 3:26 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: OT: Anyone on the list use BookCourier? Hi all, Okay, I have another question. I was checking out the buy.com's memory card, but I'm still confused. I did manage to find BookCourier's FAQ page and this is what it said: BookCourier supports type 1 CompactFlash® cards. As long as you purchase a memory card matching that description, you should be fine. Does this memory card that buy.com is advertising match what the info in the FAQ said? I'm sorry if I seem very much a dunce, but I'm just not good at recognizing this kind of stuff. Some more help on this would be greatly and very much appreciated. Hello list, I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I bought several months back a BookCourier. I've just been using the memory card that came with it, but lately find I like putting mp3s as well as my books on it. This causes me to have to decide what I really want on it before going out of the house. So my question is, can anyone recommend where to purchase a larger memory card for it? I'm a real dunce when it comes to buying computer parts and such and hope someone can just kindly steer me in a direction. Thanks for any help sent my way.
