That may usually be the case,  but with Elizabeth's green thumb the 
unbelievable can be achieved with a mere 1.5 inches of water on a 
substrate of week-old anchovey pizzas.

Guido,

That's silly, everyone knows that it takes at least 2 to 3 inches of water 

in the basement along with a healthy bit of spilled dog and cat food to 
properly sustain any viable long term anchovy harvest.
