[bksvol-discuss] Re: List from "Friends of Bookshare" site

Hi Marilyn.
The page on the friends of bookshare page is a list of books that bookshare users would like to see in the collection. Scanners sometimes go there to find out what to scan next.

The step 1 page consists of books that have been scanned and need to be validated. Validators go there to get books to validate.

Hope this helps.

Bob

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] List from "Friends of Bookshare" site

I don't know, I was just wandering around, and I came upon
a site called "Friends of Bookshare" (right here in "Bookshare.org").
It says it's a list of books that are needed <SOON>.

Never heard of it before.

Should I be looking at this list instead of Step 1? Should I print
it out and compare it to Step 1? How often is this list updated?
Does anybody use this list?

I also went to "Jake's site," but I wasn't quite sure what I was
looking at. Is this a place validators should go to for any
reason?

Thank you, really, very much for your help.

Hugs,
Marilyn
