Just did an experiment. Word files saved in .rtf keep the images. When I brought those into Kurzweil 1000, the images were removed. So, I guess whether an .rtf file has images or not depends on what program in was saved in. When I turn on the keep images feature in Kurzweil, they still aren't there. That's OK because I wouldn't use graphics in Kurzweil anyway. Monica in Maryland
