Hi Rick,
Actually, you don't have to look things up on copyright.gov unless there's a
reason to. If the copyright notice in the scan is clear, you can just use
that. It's when there's something weird about the copyright notice in the
scan, or when Gustavo needs to have a copyright verified that people
sometimes need to look at Amazon or copyright.gov etc.
