Thanks, got it scanned. I made a mistake on the title which is BEAUTIFUL LIES.
This is a mass market back so the pages are slick to the touch and stuck
together.

  Robert,

  Your e-mail doesn't include a copyright notice.

Also, not having a legible copyright page is a reason to reject a book, so
you should get some sighted help to correct the scanning errors on that page if
you can't get your OCR software to recognize it. The page doesn't have to be
perfect, but you should at least get help cleaning up the legal passages of the
page. Things like the address of the publisher, Library of Congress info, and
that number that always appears at the bottom of the page are probably not that
important, but you'll need a clear copyright notice at a minimum.

I've pasted the relevant passages from the instructions below.

If you're using a version of K-1000 which has the optimize feature and
haven't tried it, then I'd suggest doing so. If you're using an older version
of K-1000 or using OpenBook, then I'd suggest switching to a different OCR
package and try scanning it again.

  HTH

  Gerald

  * Confirm that the book contains complete copyright information, including a
name and date. Even if you are sure the book is in the Public Domain, the
original copyright information must be included.

  * Scan the text at the beginning of the book, and remove anything that
appears not to have been part of the original book. Remove any text regarding
"the extext of" or "etext by". DO NOT DELETE the table of contents, copyright
page, dedication, or introduction to the book.
