[bksvol-discuss] Re: Harry Potter Spolers

What I'm about to say is only speculation. It could very well be that the
character who died is indeed gone, and one who did the killing is indeed
evil.
But keep in mind who the author of this book is. Often times, things are not
always what they seem. I have a couple of theories about why things could be
different from what they seem. Just think about what a horcrux is, and about
Fawkes the phoenix, and the healing properties of his tears. I realize that
one needs to kill in order to make a horcrux, but in a way, the character
who died kind of killed himself. That forbidden curse may not have been what
really killed him, the potion might have truly been what killed him. So, in
a way, he killed himself by drinking that potion. Perhaps killing oneself is
enough to make a horcrux? And couldn't Fawkes have been healing part of a
soul? Like I said, it's purely speculation, and probably all wrong anyway.
But you never know what the next book will bring. Perhaps the one who did
the killing isn't really evil, maybe it was all planned with the one who
died, to save Harry.
