Folks, let me try to answer some questions--the easy ones first. 1) No, I don't want all those files--I need them, though, if I'm to make sure folks on list aren't infected w/malware. 2) Chella, just because a particular piece of software says you're not infected doesn't necessarily mean that's the case. I had 1 incident where I scanned w/several softwares, all of which said things were ok. However, w/constant popups in the client's taskbar saying his computer was infected, I knew otherwise. So, I ran HighJackThis & immediately identified & was able to remove the offending malware. He'd somehow gotten it b4 the antimalware writers discovered it. Also, there is other software called a rootkit that can hide on the machine, & not even hjt can detect it. Usually avast can, though.
