I always include reviews and advertizing materials unless it's too garble to
fixed. I usually take out coupons since they're too old to be used.

Precisely, I actually get rather ticked off when I encounter books where the
initial raves have been stripped. They either help me to understand the overal
topic/style/tone/ intended audience of the book, or they give me the same idea
about the author in general. Besides, sightlings have them available. . . why
shouldn't print disabled?

I put them in because they are there. It is the whole book to me even
if no one chooses to read it, unless I can't.

I was going to say not to bother, but if Guido wants
them. I don't put reviews from the back cover; if
reviews of the book have been scanned, as validator I
leave them, usually. Of course the reviews of the book
are going to be raves. Guido, do you really find them
useful, or are you referring to reviews of other books
by the same author, which I can see would be useful if
they have info about the book don't just say how
  wonderful the books are.

I've come to realize that authors of the same genre
will give positive reviews to a fellow author's book
in that genre, probably because they want the same
treatment. I have upon occasion, after
reading/validating a book, wondered how on earth it
could have been given such a good review. That's what
  made me realize.
