I'm hoping there's a way to avoid redong a book that's already been validated, Mickey, but so far I haven't heard. I downloaded Dead Babies, by Martin Amis, which had the same notes--donedonem, valid, etc.--but asked for a copyright check. I've written to the administrators with the copyright information and asked if they have the already-validated copy somewhere to put in the collection, so I won't have to repeat work someone else has already done. Maybe you can do the same thing. Yes, unfortunately the book on the download is is the original, un-validated one. That's why I've learned to save my files until the book gets into the collection. After one book totally disappeared, I've started saving all my files, period.
