Hi Sue,
The “Edited book file” is where you choose the proofread RTF file from your own
computer to upload. You’ll click the “Choose File” button, select the file that
you want to upload, and click “Open.” You should then see the file name listed
next to the “Choose File” button—this means that it is ready to be checked in!
The book won’t actually open on that page, you’ll just see the title listed
there. When you click “Next,” it will take you to the Check In page where you
fill out the metadata.

Hi folks,
I have been trying to check in a book I proofed but the check-in process seems
to have changed. There is an item that says edited book file, and it says the
field is required. but that is where I get stuck. I can’t seem to choose the
edited file. That is, I can’t seem to get it to open. Can anyo explain what I
should do? This is the first time I have encountered this problem.
